Apparently when I said "Don't mess with the drive, there's something wrong with the file table," the boyfriend interpreted this as "Leave the drive alone for two or three days and then start using it anyway without telling anyone."
Argh and argh again. Then again, I haven't been able to figure out HTF to fix it anyway. Which brings us to:
Hey! Help! Does anyone know WTF I can use to verify/write a new FAT for my external hard drive? Last week I deleted some files from the drive, added a few new ones, but these changes were 'lost' as far as the file browser is telling me. So, like, I have phantom deleted files ("The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable" she say), and I have no idea what's going on with the stuff I put on that's vanished. Help. Agh.
In normal news, I'm suddenly full time at the beach. So I should be slightly less broke soon.
In Doctor Who news, Invasion came out on DVD in the UK and as anticipated it's love times a thousand. Deborah Watling cancelled Who Cruise thingy. Lith sad. But she might be in 2007 Who! Lith happy! And of course the Brigadier is still going. So yay.
In Berserk news... there is no news. Berserk Hiatus continues. Miura draws like the wind. When the episodes begin again they shall surely slay us with their greatness.
