Dragoncon! :D

Well I had a great time at Dragoncon over the weekend and went back Monday morning to see which celebs were sticking it out for the whole con... Aaaand while trying to park I got a traffic citation for failure to wear a seatbelt. I wish I could cry while cops are still there instead of crying five minutes after cops leave.

ArcAttack was awesome again, Space Ghost was awesome as always, the BSG people were awesome, I got a new set of those big blue goggles I used to have, and I even saw a girl dressed as Zoe from Doctor Who. Wish I had got her picture!

Ran into a few Obscure Furry Costumes too - one girl was a Tharil from Doctor Who and another was the lil hero Digimon from X-Evolution. Huh! And lots of Rorschachs of various sizes, but funny enough he's always a popular costume - I don't think I saw any more of him this year than I have before. Similar number and variety of Snapes. XD

Also I have to admit I got all fangirly when I saw Ben Browder. I think he's the first actor I've seen and actually had my brains go ZOMG AAAUUUGH LOOK LOOK LOOK ITS JOHN CRICHTON :D:D:D But I didn't get his autograph cause I'm cheap.

Also my feet hurt because I wore heels most of the weekend. It was nice being able to see over a few more shoulders but I'm not sure if it was totally worth it.

Nice to meet you, too. :) I'm from South Florida, actually. 'Twas my first Dragon*Con. I don't know if you're familiar with the Prydon Academy group (http://www.prydonacademy.com/forum/), but they do Doctor Who costuming at Dragon*Con and elsewhere. A big group of us marched in the parade and did a photo shoot. I haven't gotten around to putting my photos up on Flickr yet, but there's a thread up on their forum for photos (http://www.prydonacademy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=443) And that Movellan *was* totally awesome.

Er, as it happens, I seem to rather dense and have completed failed to notice the date of your original post. I was only at D*C this year, not last year, although I do know the person who wore the catsuit last year. Hehe, well yes the post is old, but I was there this year as well and I believe I did see you. Though the Zoe I saw last year was also awesome!

I am bad at browsing photos so I can't find the Movellan girl even though people mention her in the thread. XD I saw the parade vids though, man that looked fun! IIRC she was one of the Weeping Angels that day.
