2600 miles for robot geeks

Peer pressure sent me rolling accross the deep south to Dallas for #WiiGii! and Botcon. A good toy robot, beer, geek, karaoke, beer, topless dancer and beer filled time was had. I got to say hi to the voice industry legend Wally Burr, and make shameless stalky goo-goo eyes at Michael Dobson, aka New Starscream & Cobra Commander. LOVE FOREVER WHEEHEHEHEE. Special shouts out to monocle, from whom I bummed more beer than anyone else, as far as I can remember.

I got back from that just in time to haul ass across Florida for slayersyrena's wedding. Lithrael, maid of honor, in a dress. Tremble in fear.

Before Botcon I was at Silver Lake in Michigan, visiting my folks, who were visiting their hometown. So I've been doing a ton of travelling lately. And I still need to go see my sister. Preferably before winter hits. Though she'd probably have a lot of fun picking on me for being cold.

Berserk continues to kick all possible ass. Volume 29 just came out in Japan, and it's on its way to me as usual, courtesy of the lovely lady Lucky Lucid.

In other news, I am still a lazy son of a bitch. I'm genuinely starting to do some new cool art stuff, though. Next update should include some of it.

By the way, anybody watching cause of my Snarry art wanna beta my first Snarry fic? I bribe thee with art trade...
