Well, I only went for a couple hours, cause bane_6 couldn't come after all, but I was in town anyway so why not. Wandered through the dealer hall and also got autographs from Lani Tupu and Brakka, yay Farscape! It was SO CROWDED though. More crowded than ever. Oogh. Only saw two Doctors there, a girl-Ten and a nicely frocked Five.

And... Lith has a job again!! I start Tuesday at another game company in Atlanta. Woohoo! So naturally my car broke down this morning. ARGH.

Plus, most funnly, the Snape fanart I did for Deathly Hallows totally got featured as a Daily Deviation on Deviantart. So now it's got four thousand faves. Heeee.

I've been in GA this whole time. Still dunno about a permanent move though. In any case it's a terrible economy to sell the house in.

Yeah, meant in the "settling in GA" sense. Weird it's a bad selling time where you are; here's the opposite. Housing prices (and rentals) have skyrocketed to the point where a house that was $200,000 a few years back is now $500,000.. meaning I am looking into the prospect of renting a nice cardboard box under a bridge sometime.

Thanks! And yeah, it was fun to look at all the pretty things and very nice to get to shake hands with the Farscape guys. I told Lani that though Pilot was just a puppet, with his voice he could make me cry and he went aw. And I went :D and Brakka looked like he was suffering from a combination of jetlag and parteeeing all night. XD

And getting to say hi to Spaceghost is always fun, holy crap what a great entertainer he is.

Man, I really should have made my Shitty Dalek costume and gone to dragmocon. (it would have been one of those shiny metal garbage cans with holes cut in, worn as a top, with a colander on my head and a plunger taped to it somewhere.)

XD it would have been hard to get anywhere to be obnoxious from, with all the crowds. The cutest thing I saw this year was a guy as Servbot or whatever that lego thing in Marvel v Capcom is called.

Wow, I am enthralled with your rendition of Snape in that certain spoiler scene. The pose, and the way you drew his expression is perfect for that moment. And the movement in the picture. You did such a great job!

Thanks! :D I still have a lot of proportion & anatomy issues but I've gotten a LOT better over the last year, and it's getting to where I can accidentally compose something well once in a while.. I'm really proud of that pic, except the arm is off somehow and the hands aren't quite right - but at least they're cool looking!

At my new job, I put digital clothes on digital men. Whee!

And yeah! I saw the main spikey hair guy by their booth signing stuff for a gaggle of girlfans. He looked like he was tired, but happy.

Yeah, your art has come a long way. Mine has suffered a bit, as I haven't drawn much at all for the past (nearly) four years but that should change soon- as my obligation is nearly up. (I have a lot to learn/relearn when it comes to drawing).

Your new job sounds great! Congratulations again.

Oh, and I'm very sorry to hear about your cat passing on. I know how very sad that can be.

Ah, bugger, you were there? Would've been nice to at least just say hi, but yeah, holy crap, it was crowded as hell.

I saw a bunch of Doctors while we were there, including a nice 7th Doctor, who looked like Sylvester McCoy. Or, at least, that's what my friend said -- I don't know much about Doctor Who.

Can't make Joe Con -- already had D*C planned for months, can't do two ATL trips in a month.

Aw, yeah, would have been cool to see you, but I was pretty much just in & out. Got through the reg line at two in the afternoon, hung out while she stood in line for autographs, got a slice of pizza, scanned the dealer hall, went home. Hopefully there will be a con with a you I can make it to soon, what with me having a decent income again now!
